AER NL 2 - August 13 (English)

From the beginning of the year 2013, 22 International Judges courses had been delivered with the participation of 50 Member federations (MF):

PAGU: 9 MF (ARG, BRA, CAN, CHI, COL, MEX, PER, USA, VEN)
UEG: 23 MF (AUT, BLR, BUL, ESP, EST, FIN, FRA, GBR, GRE, GER, HUN, ITA, ISR, LAT,LTU, MDA, POR, ROU, RUS, SER, SVK, SWE, UKR)
AGU: 13 MF (CAM, CHN, HKG, INA, IRI, JPN, KOR,
MAS, MGL, PHI, THA, TPE, VIE)
UAG: 3 MF (ALG, CGO, RSA)
OCE: 2 MF (AUS, NZL)

In the total, 378 brevets have been delivered:
- 21 judges Level 1
- 53 judges Level 2
- 80 judges Level 3
- 224 judges Level 4


In the beginning of this cycle, the number of the judges of some continents is a little lower than those of the previous cycle and will be probably higher at the end of the current cycle which is the proof of the development of the discipline all over the world and the support of all members federations.
 

Last FIG EC meeting (Liverpool, May 2013), the General Judges’ Rules 2013 have been updated following TC requests of all disciplines and are valid from 21st May 2013. 

The main amendments concern two articles.

ARTICLE 2: CATEGORIES

 2.1: Requirements to obtain category 3 for new judges or judges with a category who pass the examination with the requirements of Category 1 or 2 (parts are indicated in Yellow):
Judges without brevet: the judge shall first receive a Cat. IV and after having successfully judged a minimum of 2 international competitions in the current cycle, shall receive a Cat. III Brevet

Judges with a Category in XII Cycle: the judge will be first awarded Category IV due to an insufficient number of competitions shall first receive Category IV Brevet. After having successfully judged a minimum of 2 international FIG registered competition in the XII and XIII cycles combined, the judge shall receive Category III Brevet.
NB: Each NF will have to send the Log Book of the concerned judge to FIG office after having judged 2 FIG registered competitions.

ARTICLE 5: COMPETITION GROUPS AND ELIGIBILITY
Although the WAGC is a competition of the 3rd Group category, Cat IV judges may judge Exe / Art in TRA, DMT, TUM, AER and ACRO.

FIG Aerobic Gymnastics TC has approved 2 following New Elements.
These elements were submitted at the end of January at the FIG office but due to some communication problem, TC was not able to evaluate them prior to the previous NL-1.

The Gymnasiade, multi sports event for Junior (AG2), will be organized from 27th November to 4th December 2013.

Considering all disciplines, 33 ISF members have already confirmed their commitment to participate in the 15th Gymnasiade.

COMPETITION PROGRAMME AEROBIC GYMNASTICS  
2 competition days for qualifications and finals: 2nd and 3 rd December 2013  
The training programme will be prepared after registration by number and will be available in the Bulletin 3.

The bulletin N°2 has been published all information regarding the Definitive by number and Nominative registrations which must be completed by entering the composition of the delegation as follows:

The World Championships and World Age Group Competition should be organized by the Mexican Gymnastics Federation in Cancun at the end of June 2014.
