AER NL 6 - July 15 (English)

Dear Friends,
The FIG AER-TC wish to notify our Member Federations of the following information.


COP AMENDMENT and CLARIFICATION, which will be valid from 1st September 2015:
 

DRESS CODE for AEROBIC GYMNASTICS 2015-2016 (COP pg. 15 of 32)

  • The competitors dress must demonstrate that it subscribes to the sport profile of a Gymnastics discipline. A neat and proper athletic appearance should be the overall impression : Theatrical or clear representation of some specific costumes are NOT subscribing the SPORT PROFILE of Aerobic Gymnastics.
 
  • C.8. Aerobics attire must be in non-transparent material.

CL ARIFIC ATION for MEN’s Attire:

  • As it was mentioned in the NL 5, MEN are allowed to wear long gymnastics TROUSERS. It can be leotard + trousers or combi-trousers (1 piece), provided that a neat and proper Athletic Appearance is kept
LONG TIGHTS (long leggings) and UNITARD are allowed for women but NOT for MEN.

The Chair of Judges Panel will deduct for any attire errors according to the COP:
-0.2pt each time for different criteria
 

EXECUTION

Clarification Group A

·Elements ending in Sagittal Split position:

NL 4: description of a PERFECT Execution for “Elements ending in Sagittal Split position”.
Upright upper body facing towards the front leg with shoulders and hips square.
Both hands must be at each side of the body on the floor before any another arm position.
Any ending position deviating will be deducted accordingly.
  • Both hands at each side of the body on the floor à perfect execution : no deduction.
  • One hand on the floor and the other hand in the air: -0.1 pt
  • Both hands in the air:  -0.3 pt
  • Both hands on the floor on one side of the body:  -0.5 pt(fall)
 
Reminder of Minimum Requirements: Group D, Illusion Family
  • Full rotation of the free leg (170° minimum)
  • The element must be performed without HOPPING.
